P-p-p PIZZA!

So yesterday was day one of shredding and i made pizza for dinner! My eating was good, and my pizza was extra good! Lawrence loved his and wanted a second one! (he didnt get it!) Next time i could rustle up some chips with his!

It was pretty simple, i just topped a tortilla wrap (it wasn’t wholewheat though, woops!) with some tomato puree and a sprinkling of parsley, i then added some sauteed yellow pepper, mushrooms and spinach (L just had pepper) and topped with slices of pre-cooked chicken and a grating of reduced fat mozerella cheese. Voila!

(sorry for crappy iphone pics, L took my camera home to charge overnight so i should get it today all nice and charged :D)

Then just grilled it until the side of the tortilla went crispy and the cheese melted.

Soo yummy and i’m not even a big fan of pizza! πŸ™‚ Lawrence was sceptical about the tortilla wrap, but he loved it! (and so did i) Where it crisps up around the edge is super tasty!

As for today, i’ve had my breakfast that didn’t include peanut butter, shock horror!! I had hot banana yogoats topped with cinnamon and maple syrup πŸ˜‰ and am now waiting for it to digest before i start shredding it. I can already feel it in my thighs and calves after yesterday, they hurt! Today, i know i will feeeeeel the burn! πŸ™‚

I’ll drink up my definity shake after shredding and have 2 kiwis and a teeny bowl of cereal. Lunch…Β  a Sausage & cheese wrap.. with a protein muffin & PB for lunch dessert. (First attempt wasn’t too good)

Today is Friday, which i am pleased about in one way (its the weekend soon woooo!) and not so pleased in another way (Friday is my late shift, i don’t finished until 7:30 & don’t get a breakΒ  😦 Standing for 6.5 hours is pretty boring!!) So i’ve packed up 2 snacks to eat throughout the afternoon, a definity crisp bar and 2/3 of fage 0% with 1/2 banana, some black grapes and 1 sq crumbled dark chocolate. Yummy!! I may eat 1/2 bowl of Covent Garden’s winter vegetable soup (soo good and high protein!) when i get home, depends if i am hungry or not! I’ll probably just want to collapse in my bed πŸ™‚

Grocery shopping and 30 day shred!!!

I had 2 exciting parcels the last few days!!! Do excuse the crappy photos, they’re form the bfs iphone because of my camera, which i told you about in my last post!

First parcel came yesterday and was my maxitone!!


So exciting! I got the chocolate definity shake (although i wish i’d got vanilla because i will be cooking with it more than drinking it as a shake i think!) , a box of definity crisp bars and the maxitone shaker! I got the definity range because it’s specifially for toning, whereas the sculptress range is speifically for weight loss. I got the shaker free because i got shake and bars and i got Β£5 off because it was my first order!! They also sent me this;


A Β£5 voucher and a refer a friend leaflet, if i refer a friend, they get Β£10 and i get Β£15 when they make an order! So if any of you want to order something, let me know chickens! πŸ˜‰ I haven’t tried anything yet, i’m saving it for tomorrow when i start this;


30 day shred!! I’m soo excited its crazy! I watched level 1 today and it doesn’t look too disimilar from my Vicky Binns workout! It actually looks a bit easier so we’ll see… it’s definitatly my kind of workout though, i hate repetition and stopping, it annoys me, i love me going from one to the other and just get it done so to speak! πŸ™‚ So for my start day tomorrow, i’m going to be prety strict with what i eat. My boyfriend is even taking my chocolate stash home!! (except my dark chocolate ;))

I’m going to do this religiously but i am going to rest 1 day each week, so it will in theory take me a little more than 30 days πŸ™‚ I’m ready for taking my measurements and starting pictures in the morning and will post them on my 30 day shred page!, so check them out tomorrow evening πŸ™‚ I’m dreading the pictures going up.. i have been a little careless and put on weight and not toned at all, but this is the start of all that changing forever πŸ™‚

I also stocked up on my good healthy foods today! The essentials of my life…

I got some measuring cups!! And they were cheaper than when i spotted them last week, bargain! Lol! Now i can use all your lovely american recipes with cups measurements!!

Cheesey kind of day & bad news!

Well today has been tiring. But i’ve been more active and i’m pretty proud πŸ˜€ More on that later..

My eats were yummy today, except my favourite breakfast! Boo!
I got up at 5:50am!Β  That’s commitment for you!.. haha! Made a ginger tea, drank a bottle of water & ate 1/2 a protein bar.

I did my 30 minutes of aerobics followed by my second ever green monster! (My mix made too much, so i had one last night and put one in the fridge overnight)


It wasn’t too bad but i made it with water not milk, so kind of just tasted like banana and water and a little hint of spinach! I then had my usual banana oats with PNB & cinnamon! But this morning my banana was too ripe and i couldn’t taste it, so again i just kind of had oats and water taste! Good job for the PNB πŸ™‚

I then had a 2 hour driving lesson; my last until my test next week! Scary! I came home with only about 20 minutes so i made a quick lunch.


Brocolli left over from last night, mixed with herb and garlic light soft cheese and lettuce in wholewheat wraps. A little saucy salsa on the side πŸ™‚ Along with a nice juicy apple.

My maxitone parcel also arrived with my protein shakes, bars and shaker, so exciting!!
At work i had the other half of my protein bar. I then got home and had a (pre-cycling) snack of my new obssession!


One slice wholemeal toast, a smidgen of extra light flora margarine (just so the toast isnt too dry), light cream cheese and low sugar jam! This is delicious! I love the savoury cheese with the sweet jam, mmm! Great for a quick, nutritional breakfast too! I enjoyed this with a skinny cappuccino πŸ™‚

Then me and the BF went off for a quick cycle! We only went about 2 miles altogether (up the track near my house) but i haven’t cycled in about 4 years or more!! I just had the urge earlier so we planned to go! It was soo nice! I can tell i haven’t done it for a while, my legs were burning on the most pathetic hill! haha!! But it is a start and we plan to go again tomorrow! πŸ™‚ I loved the freedom and being in the fresh air with it blowing in my face. Loved it!

It made me hungry though, i came home and cooked a yummy big jacket potato with baked beans, 2 slices of smoked ham, grated low fat hard cheese and balsamic vinegar! Delicious! No picture because the bad news is that my camera has died on me and my USB has burnt out, therefore i cannot charge it!! I need to ring up and see if they’ll send me another one, so it could be a while……

Also, just to let you know, i’ve added a page called ‘My Body Story’; the title is pretty self explanatory πŸ™‚

Right now my eyelids are hanging and i can hardly hold them open. It’s another early start tomorrow so i’ll be catching up with blogs and drinking proper english tea for a bit and then it’s off to bed!
